Since the first Pentecost, God has freely offered His Spirit to all people for all time. The first Pentecost forever changed the history of the world. The Old Testament prophet Isaiah looked forward to the day of Emmanuel, “God with us.” With the coming of Jesus, God revealed himself to His people as He never had before.
